    The AI in Education, Research and Skills Development Roundtable brings together presidents of leading universities, industry leaders and international stakeholders to explore how artificial intelligence is transforming higher education.

    As AI reshapes teaching, research and skills development, the session will examine its impact on how knowledge is produced, validated and governed, as well as its role in enhancing learning and research practices and informing ethical frameworks.

    The discussion will also explore how AI is redefining skills development for students and the workforce, highlighting how universities can design forward-looking curricula, training pathways and professional development to prepare future talent for an AI-driven world. Particular attention will be given to emerging approaches such as micro-credentials, upskilling and reskilling.

    Through this dialogue, participants will exchange insights and best practices, and discuss pathways for collaboration to strengthen AI capacity, advance innovation, and support inclusive, global talent development, while contributing to AI for Good initiatives and the development of international standards.
