PeiChin Tay

PeiChin Tay is a Senior Policy Advisor at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, where she leads work at the intersection of the artificial intelligence, future of work, and public sector innovation. Her work centres on driving a human-centred approach to policymaking, and she has co-authored comparative studies on national AI strategies and labour market transformations. Previously, she successfully managed multi-million-dollar national and regional programmes – including the Mayor of London’s Digital Talent Programme, making opportunities in the digital economy more accessible to under-represented communities; and a community entrepreneurship project for the Government of Singapore. Most notably, she also led a 14-member pan-European consortium to help governments and businesses design and deliver innovation strategies. PeiChin regularly contributes to global forums such as the UN, OECD, and World Bank on inclusive digital transformation and her work has been covered widely (Nikkei Asia, Rest of World, Ethos and The Business Times Singapore). She is currently a member of the UN ITU ‘AI for Good’ Impact Initiative Steering Committee, as well as the UNESCAP ‘Asia-Pacific Information Superhighway’ (APIS) Steering Committee. She is also a recognised global policy leader, as one of GovInsider’s 100 ‘Women in GovTech 2025’.
