Mehru Öztürk
Mehru Öztürk has over 26 years of experience in the civil society sector and currently serves as the General Manager of the Turkish Entrepreneurship Foundation, a role she has held since the foundation’s inception. She is also a founding member of its Board of Trustees. In 2022, she joined the committee of Founder One, Turkey’s first impact investment fund, where she contributes to creating meaningful societal change through innovative investments.
Inspired by her passion for entrepreneurship and social impact, Mehru co-founded The Good Factor in 2022 with her partner, Betül Selcen Özer. The company’s mission is to transform brands into agents of social change, driving positive impact through purpose-driven strategies.
Since 2002, Mehru has been a founding trustee of the Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG), Turkey’s largest youth-focused civil society organization. This organization empowers young people to engage in social responsibility projects across the country. Driven by her belief in the transformative power of technology, Mehru co-founded the Things project in partnership with Techsoup Europe, a platform that fosters social innovation through technology. Mehru remains an active member of the project’s advisory board.
Her influence extends across several prominent organizations, where she continues to shape the future of entrepreneurship and innovation. She holds memberships in:

Between 2009 and 2013, she served as a Communications and Project Specialist for the EU Technical Assistance Project for Civil Society Organizations (TACSO), where she played a crucial role in organizing Turkey’s first International Social Entrepreneurship Conference. She furthered her expertise in social entrepreneurship with training at INSEAD. She contributed to the design and implementation of the Social Change Lab – Social Entrepreneurship Incubation Program, in collaboration with Özyeğin University, JP Morgan, and TOG.
Today, Mehru actively mentors and advises on various national and international entrepreneurship programs, serving as a jury member and helping to foster a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in Turkey. Her greatest passions lie in staying at the forefront of innovation, continuously drawing inspiration from the dynamic energy of young changemakers, emerging technologies, and the transformative potential of new ideas.
