The AI & Robotics Youth Training Programme equips young people aged 10–18, as well as educators, with practical skills in artificial intelligence and robotics through AI School Clubs, structured teacher training, and national innovation challenges.
This programme that is being implemented by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) with the support of Google and the I Am Angel Foundation builds onto Giga to transform schools into environments for continuous learning and innovation. Giga is a joint initiative of ITU and UNICEF that provides government with support towards connecting every school to the Internet and every young person to information, opportunity and choice.
Implemented in close partnership with national administrations, the programme expands access to emerging technologies while aligning with national priorities. Through hands-on, project-based learning, the AI & Robotics Youth Training Programme fosters the development of confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills, preparing young people for the digital economies of tomorrow.
