Juan M. Daza
Juan M. Daza is a biologist conducting research at the interface of evolution, ecology, genetics and conservation. Currently, he is pursuing two different but related research programs. First, he utilizes genetic data, computational methods, and an integrated evolutionary approach to address hypotheses of systematics, speciation and biogeography. Second, Juan is very interested in developing new tools for biodiversity studies. As part of this goal, he has been working in Ecoacoustics and AI methods to better understand the spatial and temporal dynamics of populations, species and ecosystems in a highly diverse Neotropical region.Â
