Nnenna Okore

As the COO of SMAIR Foundation’s AI, Robotics, and Innovation Hub, Nnenna Okore is at the forefront of bridging the gap in robotics engineering education. She leads a team of young professionals, focusing on business strategy for schools and Edtech companies, and advocating for technological inclusion in schools. She has also led her team to prepare young minds for innovative challenges and build innovative solutions at the moment to solve local needs and deliver the SDGs in schools. Her students have gone ahead to win and become finalists in state and national championships in Nigeria.

With over fifteen years of experience as an innovative educator, Nnenna has served in various roles, including school principal, sixth-form coordinator, and technology integration specialist. Her pedagogical and technological skills have significantly improved learner abilities and mentored many teachers.

Nnenna’s expertise extends to curriculum development and teacher training, and she has worked with several Nigerian state governments to implement technology in schools and develop STEM-based “Smart Schools.” She also serves as an examiner and assessor for Cambridge and Pearson exam bodies.
