Quantum for Good

Quantum for Everyone, Impact for Good

Quantum technology is set to reshape our world, and its impact must be inclusive, ethical, and sustainable. To achieve this, Quantum for Good is driving responsible innovation, strengthening global collaboration, and supporting the development of inclusive standards to ensure quantum technology delivers real-world benefits for all.

As part of the International Year of Quantum (IYQ 2025), ITU and its partners are working to harness quantum’s potential to accelerate progress in climate action, healthcare, cybersecurity, and digital inclusion, complementing AI in tackling global challenges.

In celebration of

Quantum technologies promise major breakthroughs in medicine, climate action, trade and more. Risks — especially of cyberattacks — are equally powerful. ITU works to keep tech safe, close new digital divides, and unlock quantum for good.
