
This is a replay of a workshop that took place during the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva, Switzerland from 30 to 31 May, 2024.
This roundtable aims to facilitate a collaborative dialogue between key stakeholders in the AI industry, particularly focusing on building bridges between standards, regulations and industry development in AI. Hosted in Geneva, the event gathers diverse and different stakeholders to discuss the global collaborations and harmonization opportunities and challenges in the AI industry development.
These stakeholders are Standardization Development Organizations (SDOs), such as ITU, ISO, and IEC, United Nations organizations, private sector (telco and non-telco corporates), and other regulatory/governmental and R&D related organizations.
The goal is to have an interactive discussion about the gaps, needs, and areas of collaborations among international standards bodies, leading technology companies, and public (regulatory/governmental agencies) to discuss the harmonization of AI industry standardization across the globe, addressing both the technical, regulatory and ethical dimensions of AI technologies
The primary objective of this roundtable is to foster a constructive exchange of ideas, insights, and best practices to address the challenges and opportunities surround in AI industry, and how can we build bridges across these different stakeholders.

- Explore strategies for aligning standards regulations and policy development with the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
