  • The use of individual health data creates exceptional opportunities for generating insights on our overall wellbeing, but it also poses threats to human rights if the data is not responsibly collected, used, and stored. Young people, many of whom are digital natives, bring unique and valuable perspectives on this topic. As powerful changemakers, they need to meaningfully participate in the dialogues around health data and digital rights as these are issues that clearly affect their rights, health, and daily lives. In this session, Fondation Botnar is gathering experts to advance the discussion about health data in the frame of human rights and young people to better understand concerns and opportunities as well as listen to how we can make sure that young people are meaningfully included in these discussions.
