Yacine Ndiaye

Yacine’s passion for equal access to healthcare drove her to pursue the Master of Science in Global Health at the University of Geneva. She graduated with Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Women’s and Gender Studies. Alongside her academic training, Yacine has had experience tackling health issues working as a Sexual Health activist, an Environmental Health Technician for a local government and recently, as a Consultant at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance focusing on Measles and Rubella program management. Yacine is currently one of the 12 members of the Young Experts: Tech 4 Health (YE:T4H) which is a platform for young people to shape and guide the agenda towards achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC) by 2030 through data and digital technologies. Growing up in Senegal and living in the United States and Switzerland has given Yacine first-hand experience of global health inequalities. Yacine is a fervent advocate for gender equality, education and health and believes passionately in the role of social justice and advocacy to enact change and create health equity.
