The AI for Good scholar program has been an incredible journey for me as a Computer Engineering student. It is a prestigious initiative designed to nurture emerging talents in artificial intelligence by fostering collaboration, innovation, and knowledge-sharing. This program connected me with experts in the field and provided opportunities to refine AI use cases for social impact, including mentorship and participation in high-profile events.
What activities did you participate in during the scholar program?
During the program, I engaged in activities such as refining use case reports, networking with AI experts and other scholars, and collaborating on various projects. I also greatly benefited from mentoring in the ITU ML5G initiative, which provided me with deeper insights and advanced knowledge in the application of AI in telecommunications. Additionally, it was an opportunity for me to interact with other scholars, creating a network that will help me benchmark our work and drive future collaborations.
