SiraBot

SIraBot is a Senior Robotics Team from Guinea and winner of the national qualifiers for the AI for Good Youth Challenge. Our team was formed with a shared vision: to use robotics and artificial intelligence to address one of the most pressing challenges in our country—food security.
Our project, Sira (Smart Intelligent Robotics for Agriculture), focuses on improving food production and promoting sustainable farming practices. Coming from a context where agriculture is a key pillar of the economy, we recognized the need for innovative, accessible, and scalable solutions that can support farmers and increase productivity.
Throughout the competition, our team combined skills in engineering, programming, and problem-solving to design a robot capable of simulating smart agricultural tasks. We worked collaboratively, continuously testing and improving our design to ensure it reflects real-world farming challenges such as precision, efficiency, and adaptability to the environment.
Beyond the technical aspect, SIraBot represents a new generation of African youth committed to using technology for impact. We believe that robotics and AI are not only tools for innovation but also powerful drivers for social and economic transformation.
As representatives of Guinea, our ambition is to inspire more young people to engage in STEM and to show that local challenges can be solved through creativity, collaboration, and technology. Through Sira, we aim to contribute to a more food-secure and sustainable future for our communities and beyond.
