Siddhartha Jha

Siddhartha Jha is the AI & Digital Innovation Lead at Fondation Botnar, which champions using data and frontier technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve the wellbeing of children and young people in rapidly growing urban environments. Advocating for including youth voices and the equitable use of AI and digital technology, the foundation invests in and supports innovative programs and research and brings together actors from across sectors to create dialogue and partnerships.  

Siddhartha holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, an MSc. in Biomedical Engineering and a CAS in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, both from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. He brings many years of interdisciplinary professional experience with him in technology, research, and innovation roles in different organisations across multiple countries.

Siddhartha is responsible for bringing technology-driven insights into Fondation Botnar’s work across diverse initiatives. He supports the Foundation team in making informed decisions on funding and catalysing innovative projects spanning health and education and leveraging Data, AI and digital technologies to promote the wellbeing of young people. Siddhartha draws his inspiration from various disciplines and is deeply interested in facilitating a responsible use of technology  and algorithms for the common good.
