Nicholas Aaron Khoo

With over 15 years of diverse experience, Nicholas has been a co-founder, investor, and board member in businesses, non profits, and government. Directly reported to Fortune 500 CEOs, headed up the region for an investor in digital-first education, Nicholas has also led a regional team for Visa helping the biggest businesses on the internet like Tencent and Alibaba manage their risks in digital transactions, serving on Visa’s Asia Pacific Merchant Sales & Solutions leadership.

Nicholas has chaired multiple national initiatives, including one with the Ministry of Education to have students reimagine education and work for Singapore’s next 50 years as well as an official ASEAN youth event. Nicholas has also been invited to judge an Innovator Awards in Silicon Valley, the ASEAN Youth Creative Industry Fair and led a national delegation to the Nanjing Youth Olympics on the invitation of China’s Vice Premier. He was also invited by Chinese Leaders to speak at the 4th World Internet Conference sharing the stage with major global leaders.

Nicholas clearly has an unconventional approach to life when he turned down prestigious college scholarships, dropped out of National University of Singapore (NUS) computer science programme only to graduate as valedictorian for his MBA and invited as an expert for NUS’ Global Studies Programme.

In 2018, Nicholas was honoured both as a Friend of the Ministry of Culture, Community & Youth as a well as the Ministry of Social and Family Development.
