Dicle Yurdakul

Prof. Dr. Dicle Yurdakul is a behavioral scientist and neuroscientist who decodes human behavior across different contexts. Building on her expertise in consumer and marketing research, she examines how individuals think and make decisions as consumers, employees, leaders, and voters. Her work focuses on the technological, social, and economic transformations that shape these processes.

She is the Marketing Director at Altınbaş University, a faculty member in the Faculty of Business Administration, and the Director of the AU INOVA Research Center and INOVA NeuroLab. She is known for bridging academic research with real-world applications. Through her consulting firm, WE.Q., she advises organizations on consumer behavior, organizational decision-making, leadership, and human–machine interaction.

She completed her PhD in Consumer Behavior at İzmir University of Economics and the University of Texas, followed by postdoctoral research at Koç University. Her academic work has been published in leading journals such as Marketing Theory, European Journal of Marketing, and Journal of Macromarketing. She has also contributed as a consultant and project lead in sustainability and inclusive business initiatives under United Nations Development Programme and Istanbul International Center for Private Sector in Development.

In the research labs she founded and leads, she uses methodologies such as EEG, fNIRS, eye-tracking, and biometric data analysis to understand how people think, feel, and decide across different contexts. Her work enables organizations to generate deeper insights and develop more human-centered strategies.
