Lorenzo Vita

Lorenzo Vita, an Italian national born on March 17, 1977, has built a career in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and environmental research. Currently serving as a Geospatial Information Officer for the Illicit Crop Monitoring Programme (ICMP) at the Research and Trend Analysis Branch of the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Vienna, Lorenzo has been actively involved in designing and implementing technical assistance programs for the development of national illicit crop monitoring systems. Lorenzo holds a Professional Master’s degree in Geomatics and Natural Resources Evaluation and a MSc in Tropical and Subtropical Agricultural Science.
