chaBots Destroy

chaBots Destroy

chaBots Destroy is a robotics team from San Luis Potosí, Mexico. We are part of the chaBots community, and our work can be found at https://www.chabots.mx/.

Our team is made up of five students: Karol, Joaquín, Alexa, Santos, and Rafa, with the guidance of our mentor, Roy. The name Destroy represents the way we approach robotics: we build, test, take things apart, and improve our designs through each iteration. For us, making mistakes is part of the learning process, and every failed attempt helps us understand how to make our robots more reliable, stable, and precise.

For this year’s challenge, we developed a two-robot system using LEGO SPIKE Prime, Python programming, 3D-designed parts, and mechanical modifications. Our project focuses on agricultural automation, with tasks related to crop harvesting, sorting, and irrigation. Rather than presenting it as a final industrial solution, we see it as an educational robotics project that allows us to explore real-world problems using accessible technology.

We are excited to share our work with the AI for Good Youth Challenge community and to represent Mexico through robotics, learning, and teamwork.
