COVID-19: China’s Digital Health Strategies Against the Global Pandemic

    Shan is the Vice-Chair of ITU-WHO Artificial Intelligence for Health focus group and was elected in the roster of WHO digital health expert. She is a senior standards and strategic expert from E-Health Department of Cloud Computing & Big Data Research Institute in China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), also the head of International colla​boration group of Health &Medical bigdata and network research center in CAICT. She joined many national science and technology projects and participated in "MIT Technology Review: AI in health care: Capacity, capability, and a future of active health in Asia"
    Director, Machine Vision Standardization and Strategy

    Ms. Yuan Zhang is the Rapporteur of ITU-T Q12/16, focusing on standardization on video perception and intelligent analysis. Yuan is the co-chair of MPEG AhG VCM, focusing on video coding for machine vision and hybrid human and machine vision. Yuan is an expert in machine vision standardization and strategy department, China Telecom research institute, responsible for R&D, standards, products of machine vision. She is active in various standards fields and SDOs, including machine vision, VCM, AI, autonomous driving, video perception, video analysis, etc.
