[Invitation only] AI tabletop exercise for decision-makers

  • Date
    9 July 2026
    Timeframe
    09:00 - 11:30 CEST
    Duration
    2h 30 minutes

Participants will work through a plausible cabinet-level scenario involving an AI-enabled disruption. Based on the findings of the International AI Safety Report, chaired by Turing Award winner and Mila – Quebec AI Institute founder Yoshua Bengio, this exercise – developed by the UK AI Security Institute and RAND Europe – provides a practical setting to test assumptions, exchange perspectives, and explore how decisions may unfold under uncertainty and time pressure. Ultimately, the exercise highlights how crisis management can help safely harness advanced AI while supporting innovation and building public trust.
