How would you describe the scholar program in your own words?
The scholar program has been a transformative experience, enabling me to engage in productive discussions with experts, entrepreneurs, and young students from various countries. It provided a platform where I could contribute to impactful discussions on AI for Good, fostering collaborative opportunities and broadening my perspectives significantly.
What activities did you participate in during the scholar program?
I participated in the “Innovate for Impact: The Winning AI Use Cases” session at the AI for Good Global Summit 2024, and also in the “ITU AI for Good Innovate for Impact” session at the 2024 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and High-Level Meeting for Global AI Governance. Both events were attended in person.
In what ways did you benefit from the scholar program?
As an ITU AI for Good Scholar, I benefited immensely from the program in several ways. First, the opportunity to interact with AI experts, scientists, entrepreneurs and students from different countries was invaluable. This exposure widened my perspective and enabled me to exchange ideas and insights with some of the best minds in the field.
Moreover, the program exposed me to an abundance of innovative AI solutions that showcased the latest advances and practical applications of AI technology. This exposure has not only helped me to better understand the current AI landscape, but also allowed me to continue to collaborate with those leading these innovative solutions. I believe that this will lead to more international collaborations, which will allow more people to benefit from the advances in AI technology.
Overall, the programme has been a transformative experience, significantly enriching my network and knowledge base, and fostering a global perspective on the future of AI innovation
