How would you describe the scholar program in your own words?
I think this is a very inclusive, diverse and productive project. we have 13 scholars from 9 different countries which incudle both developed and developing countries. We aslo have different backgrouand from academia, universities, and AI companies, there are technical experts, legal policy experts, as well as industry experts. We held several meetings in a short period of time, participated in the discussion and analysis of multiple cases, and actively promoted the publishment of AI for Good-Innovate for Impact Case Set.
What activities did you participate in during the scholar program?
Attended early online meetings and case discussions； Worked closely and communicated deeply with the authors of my own cases to help them modify and complete the cases; Attended AI for Good global summits in Geneva, participated in the “Innovation expands impact: the case of AI for Good” jointly organized by ITU and MIIT, and the Panel discussion of scholars; Participated in the Shanghai World artificial intelligence Conference and participated in the AI for Good Innovate for Impact Forum jointly organized by ITU, MIIT and Shanghai; Attended the workshop at the Shanghai Telecommunications Museum and Scholar Panel Discussion.
In what ways did you benefit from the scholar program?
Through participating in relevant meetings and workshops, I have a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the main purpose, specific content and significance of the AI For Good project； Through communication with the project team and other scholars, I have further broadened my perspective on artificial intelligence； Through communication and cooperation with specific case authors, further in-depth understanding of the application practice of artificial intelligence; After being elected as a scholar, in order to prepare for relevant conferences, I have also continued to learn, promoting a clearer understanding of related fields, and learning a lot of interdisciplinary knowledge.
