SAINT RAPTORS

Saint Raptors is the innovative robotics and coding team of St. Luke’s Boys High School, Kimilili, dedicated to nurturing young problem-solvers, creators, and technology leaders. Since its formation in 2023, the team has grown from a small group of enthusiastic learners into a highly skilled STEM team recognized for excellence in robotics, coding, and innovation competitions.
Over the years, the team has actively participated in robotics challenges, science fairs, coding workshops, and technology exhibitions, gaining valuable experience in designing, programming, and testing robotic solutions for real-world problems. Their achievements include success in robotics competitions and the development of projects that address environmental and community challenges.
The Saint Raptors possess strong programming skills in Scratch, where they create interactive animations, games, and educational applications. They are also proficient in Python for automation, robotics control, and problem-solving, while their knowledge of HTML enables them to design responsive web pages. Additionally, they apply Java programming concepts to develop structured applications and strengthen their computational thinking skills. Through teamwork, creativity, and continuous learning, Saint Raptors continues to inspire innovation and technological excellence. In 2023 we were fourth position in western region Kenya science fair, in 2024 we won the National Ksef robotics Championship held in Nairobi and were 5th position in WRO national championship. In 2025 they won the Code Festival organised by Iskillmasters held at Strathmore university being position 1 in robotics , position 1 in App development.
