Robo-TD

Robo-TD is a two-member robotics team from Abacusan Stúdió Educational Centre in Hungary. Our team consists of Benedek Tóth and Csaba László Drágár secondary school students, mentored by Sára Sugár. We are passionate about robotics, engineering, and programming, and we enjoy solving complex challenges through teamwork and innovation.

For the Robotics for Good Youth Challenge, we developed a two-robot solution designed to efficiently complete the competition tasks. One robot is responsible for planting and watering seeds using a robotic arm, while the second robot collects seeds and transports them where needed. By dividing the tasks between two specialized robots, we improved reliability, simplified development, and increased overall performance.

Throughout the season, we learned how to design mechanical systems, integrate sensors, and develop autonomous navigation strategies. We used infrared sensors, color sensors, and ultrasonic distance sensors to help our robots position themselves accurately and interact with game elements.

Participating in this competition has strengthened our problem-solving, teamwork, and technical skills. We are excited to share our work with other young innovators and demonstrate how robotics and technology can contribute to solving real-world challenges related to sustainable agriculture and food production.
