Restful Robotics

Restful Robotics

Untreated Obstructive Sleep Apnea is a global health problem, as the existing gold standard treatment, continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) has a 60% non-compliance rate long term.  Leading causes for non-compliance include claustrophobia when attempting to fall asleep with a mask, and semi-conscious mask removals.  To address this, Restful Robotics created RoboPAP, the first robotic CPAP that allows patients to fall asleep normally, without wearing any masks, head straps, or hoses.
