Rebecca Moore

Our planet is changing so rapidly that it can be hard for people to understand what’s happening and what we can do about it. For the past 15 years, Rebecca has been working to put a dynamic, digital replica of our world at people’s fingertips so we can protect and conserve our planet for generations to come.

Rebecca directs Google’s geospatial initiatives driving environmental and social impact, including Google Earth, Earth Engine and Environmental Insights Explorer. Through the Google Earth Outreach program and global events such the annual Geo for Good Summit, Rebecca and her team supports nonprofits, scientists, educators, governmental institutions, businesses and communities in applying Google’s mapping tools to the world’s most pressing problems affecting people and planet.
