Plastal-bot Builders is a Zambian youth-led robotics and innovation team dedicated toleveraging artificial intelligence and robotics to solve real-world challenges. Founded on the principles of creativity, collaboration, and technological excellence, the team is committed to promoting STEM education and developing solutions aligned with the United Nations
Sustainable Development Goals.

With a strong background in organizing robotics workshops, STEM outreach programs, and innovation projects, Plastal-bot Builders has empowered students, researchers, and hobbyists to explore emerging technologies. The team specializes in designing autonomous robotic systems that address global issues such as environmental sustainability, waste management,
and food security.

In the AI for Good Youth Robotics Challenge, the team showcased its expertise by developing
an autonomous agricultural robot designed to enhance efficiency in modern farming. Their
victory in the national edition of the competition reflects their dedication, technical competence,
and commitment to innovation.

Key members Mapalo Kazembe and Fred Mukuna have played instrumental roles in research, design, programming, and teamwork throughout the project. Together, they embody the spirit of innovation and excellence, representing Zambia on the global stage.

Through their participation, Plastal-bot Builders aims to inspire the next generation of African innovators and demonstrate the transformative power of technology in building a sustainable future.
