Nick Tomlinson

Nick Tomlinson is a Global Health Adviser in the OECD’s Health Division. Nick is responsible for the coordination of the OECD’s global health activities, including contributing to the health priorities of the G20 and G7. Nick is part of the Secretariat for the UHC2030, which seeks to build stronger health systems for universal health coverage, and will be coordinating UHC2030’s future work on digital health. He is also part of the Secretariat for the ILO/OECD/WHO Working for Health Programme, which aims to expand and transform the global health and social care workforce in order to accelerate progress towards universal health coverage and global health security.

Nick was previously Head of International Health in the UK Department of Health, where he was responsible for work including delivery of the UK’s global health strategy and bilateral cooperation with partner countries. Nick was chair of the Commonwealth Advisory Committee on Health and co-chaired the NHS International Health Group, which provided a national forum for co-ordinating voluntary engagement by NHS staff in global health.
