Michelle Kuchera

Michelle Kuchera is an Assistant Professor at Davidson College, where she is PI of the ALPhA (Algorithms for Learning in Physics Applications) Lab. She is a computational physicist working at the intersection of machine learning with nuclear and particle physics. She has received grants from the National Science Foundation, Department of Energy, and Center for Nuclear Femtography and collaborates with scientists at the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams, the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility, the upcoming Electron-Ion Collider, and CERN. She has given plenary talks about AI for nuclear science at various conferences and workshops. She is passionate about educating the upcoming generations about AI, science, and related social impacts.
