Marija Jankovic

Dr. Marija Jankovic is Chair of the ETSI Technical Committee Methods for Testing and Specification (TC MTS), ETSI’s centre of excellence for testing and specification methodologies. She leads standardisation efforts spanning testing languages and technologies, including TTCN-3 and TDL, as well as emerging methods for AI testing, continuous conformity assessment, and AI system documentation.

As a Senior Researcher at the Information Technologies Institute of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH/ITI), she contributes to European research and innovation projects in trustworthy AI, AI-enabled system testing, smart manufacturing, secure IoT, and human-centric digital systems. She also works with the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) on supply chain integration and smart manufacturing process design, strengthening the international and industrial scope of her standardisation work. Her work focuses on turning AI trustworthiness from a high-level principle into testable, measurable, and auditable evidence.
