LaSean Knox-Brown

LaSean Knox-Brown is Director of Communications at StudyFetch, an AI-native learning company that operates StudyFetch for individual learners and Honen for organizations and workforce learning. His work centers on how AI can expand access to education and create greater opportunity for students and communities that have too often been left behind.

Before joining StudyFetch, LaSean spent more than a decade as a U.S. diplomat with the U.S. Department of State, where he led communications, public diplomacy, and strategic engagement initiatives across Europe and Africa. His portfolio spanned education diplomacy programs, crisis communications, media engagement, and international convenings with leaders from government, civil society, and the private sector. He later joined Meta, where he worked on global public affairs and technology policy, including the company’s Oversight Board, focusing on questions of platform governance and online speech.

Across government and the private sector, LaSean’s work has lived at the intersection of diplomacy, public policy, and education, anchored by a commitment to uplifting marginalized communities through his work and advocacy. He is a frequent voice in international discussions on AI, education, and expanding economic opportunity.

LaSean holds a Master of Public Policy from Princeton University and a B.A. in International Studies from Morehouse College.
