We come from a context where agriculture is not only a key economic sector but also a vital source of survival for millions. Yet, farmers face significant losses due to climate instability, plant diseases, and limited access to modern tools. These challenges inspired us to rethink agriculture through the power of artificial intelligence and robotics.

Our project introduces an intelligent, automated greenhouse system designed to transform traditional farming into a precise, data-driven, and resilient process. By combining AI (“the brain”) and robotics (“the muscles”), our solution monitors environmental conditions in real time, anticipates plant diseases through advanced sensing (including gas and sound analysis), and automates irrigation, ventilation, and harvesting. Our system also integrates smart sorting to maximize product value and reduce waste.

Beyond technology, we strongly believe in human-centered innovation. Our solution empowers farmers rather than replacing them—enhancing decision-making, creating skilled job opportunities, and supporting sustainable agricultural practices.

ASCITECH represents a new generation of African problem-solvers committed to building solutions that are practical, scalable, and impactful. Through our work, we aim to contribute to food security, reduce agricultural losses, and support the vision of a self-sufficient and resilient Democratic Republic of Congo.
