Harry Kumar

Harry Kumar is Co-founder, Director and Chief Creative Officer of Moth. He oversees the creative direction of the company, shaping its brand, creative output, marketing and partnerships at the intersection of creative R&D and cultural production.

Harry began his career working across the creative and cultural sectors, spanning music, fashion, art, creative direction and cultural programming. He established himself as an arts advisor and curator while co-directing The Split Gallery in London, which he co-founded. Whilst incubating Moth, he managed special projects for the Stanhill Foundation across art, technology, literary publishing and cultural programming.

Harry is engaged in the philosophy of technology and critical discourse around how new technologies shape contemporary culture. He has become a leading voice in the emerging field of quantum computing and culture, leading talks, panels and seminars at Berkeley Center for New Media, UdK Berlin, MUTEK Festival, the British Science Festival, Science Gallery, KAUST, Goethe-Institut, SXSW, Sónar Festival and the University of Oxford.

His academic background is in Mathematics and Philosophy, at McGill University and UCL.
