Frederik Kratzert

Frederik Kratzert is a Research Scientist at Google Research. He did a master in Environmental Engineering (specializing in Hydrology) and a PhD in Machine Learning (at the ELLIS Unit Linz. Austria) with a focus on the intersection of deep learning and hydrology. Now at Google, he is working in the Flood Forecasting team that aims at providing everyone on Earth timely and actionable flood warnings. Other workrelated passions are open source software and open source datasets. Besides working too much and sleeping too little, Frederik has two kids that he is trying to spend as much time with as possible.
