Ezekiel Brooks

As Chief Technology Officer at U.S. Hunger, Ezekiel Brooks leads the organization’s technology strategy, overseeing cloud, data, and AI initiatives that connect food assistance, social care, and healthcare systems nationwide.

His work advances U.S. Hunger’s mission of “Feeding Families Today and Uniting Them to a Healthier Tomorrow” by architecting technology solutions that improve access to resources, strengthen cross-sector collaboration, and address the social drivers of health. Through AI-driven systems, Ezekiel helps transform vast quantities of social determinants of health insights gathered from surveying nearly 300,000 individuals into actionable intelligence that can better inform care, outreach, and community support.

His work also includes architecting cloud-based solutions that use AI to codify social care needs, translate community-level data into meaningful insights, and connect social care organizations with healthcare partners in more measurable and impactful ways. U.S. Hunger helps place more than 21 million meals annually into communities and has provided nearly 250 million meals throughout its history.

Ezekiel has 30+ years of experience designing, architecting, developing, and implementing software solutions. He is focused on advancing connected, data-driven systems that help organizations and community partners better serve families while bridging the gap between social care and healthcare.
