Diva Avaya Sharma is a technology entrepreneur and founder of Cognitio Labs, a Y Combinator-backed company supported by institutional investors, whose flagship product brings food quality compliance to companies across their quality teams. She serves as a Board Member at Stanford Entrepreneurs and is Co-Founder and Co-President of the Stanford Alumni Alliance on Innovation for Global Impact, anchored within the Stanford King Center on Global Development, which aims to connect the Stanford ecosystem with leading global development organizations.

A member of the World Economic Forum’s Future 26 Cohort, a highly selective group of 26 emerging leaders convened to integrate industrial perspectives into corporate and global foresight policy, she collaborates with cross-sector decision-makers to shape dialogue and drive action on the world’s most pressing challenges. She brings deep experience across venture capital as one of the few North American fellows at Bessemer Venture Partners, 8VC, and Pear Ventures, and has worked with Fortune 500 organizations including Johnson & Johnson MedTech and Meta, as well as governments and economic innovation labs.

She is the inventor of a patented rural health monitoring device recognized by the Government of India, the World Bank, and the European Commission. Her TEDx talk was selected as one of eight globally for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Girl Empowerment playlist, reaching more than 80,000 people. She graduated from Stanford University with a BS in Computer Science.
