Erika Marthins

Erika Marthins is a pioneering designer and researcher at the intersection of food, design, and technology. She is the founder of Augmented Food Studio, where she creates playful, multisensory experiences such as Déguster l’augmenté — edible robots and augmented chocolate records that went viral with over one million views and have been exhibited internationally, from the United Nations to the Vitra Design Museum, Milan Design Week, Ars Electronica and Google.
She has held creative roles at SPACE10 and ETH Zürich and is currently part of the SNSF project Paik Replayed at ECAL’s R&D Department. A Swiss Design Awards finalist, her work has been featured in Wired, Fast Company, MOLD, and Dezeen. She believes playfulness is the key to shaping the future.
