Elizabeth Houck

Elizabeth Houck is a Master of Social Work student at the School of Social Policy and Practice and a Research Fellow at SAFELab at the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies/Global Health from Drexel University in Philadelphia. With previous experience working in community outreach supporting survivors of violence, she prioritizes trauma-informed approaches to address complex social issues. Passionate about disability advocacy and increasing awareness about invisible health conditions, Elizabeth’s work centers on promoting accessibility, equitable access to resources, inclusive technology policies, and community-centered education initiatives. She aims to combine research, advocacy, and community-led decision-making to build a more accessible world for all.
