Amrutha Moorthy

Amrutha Moorthy is the Founder and CEO of Patenti Technology Solutions, an AI-powered patent intelligence company focused on transforming intellectual property into a strategic, economic asset. She has over 18 years of experience in data architecture, enterprise systems and AI-led product development, and currently leads Patenti’s platform architecture, research methodology and commercialization strategy.

Her work focuses on explainable AI for patent valuation, standards-linked patent intelligence, standard-essential patent governance, product-to-patent mapping, and IP-backed financing. Through Patenti, she has developed decision-support frameworks that connect patent claims, technical standards, market evidence and commercialization readiness to help innovators, enterprises, lenders and policy stakeholders better understand the economic value of intellectual property.

Amrutha is the inventor of the granted Indian patent in AI space. She is also a Chevening CRISP Fellow at the University of Oxford, where her work examines how intellectual property, technology readiness, market readiness and valuation evidence can support innovation-led growth.

She has received several recognitions, including the Women Innovators Award – Special Recognition by Mint and Salesforce, Elevate 2023 Idea2PoC by Startup Karnataka, NIDHI Entrepreneur-in-Residence support, and the BCIC Emerging Star Award. Her current research and professional work sit at the intersection of AI, intellectual property, innovation economics, standards, technology commercialization and evidence-based valuation.
