Derick Adil is the Head of AI and Privacy Governance at Globe Telecom, where he leads enterprise-wide efforts to embed responsible AI, privacy by design, and digital trust into strategy, technology, and operations—helping the organization scale AI responsibly and with confidence.

He also serves as Convenor of the Joint Advisory Group on AI and Sustainability at the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Chief Standards and Certification Officer of the International AI Safety Commission, and Chair of the Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA) Philippines. Through these leadership roles, he contributes to advancing international collaboration on AI governance, safety, trust, and sustainability.

With nearly two decades of experience spanning telecommunications, technology, and media, Derick specializes in AI governance, privacy, digital trust, enterprise risk, and large-scale transformation. He works at the intersection of policy and practice, helping leaders make sense of complex AI technologies, emerging regulations, and governance challenges by translating them into practical, decision-oriented frameworks that enable responsible innovation while strengthening organizational trust.

Beyond his enterprise role, Derick actively contributes to international standards development, AI safety initiatives, and cross-sector collaboration. He is widely recognized for advancing practical, human-centered approaches to AI governance, anti-scam protection, and privacy that organizations can implement in real-world environments.
