Derick Adil is the Head of AI and Privacy Governance at Globe Telecom, where he leads enterprise-wide efforts to embed responsible AI, privacy by design, and trust & safety into business strategy and operations ensuring innovation scales with accountability. He also serves as Convenor of the Joint Advisory Group on AI and Sustainability at the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and as Chair of the Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA) Philippine Chapter.

With nearly two decades of experience across technology, telecommunications, and media, Derick brings deep expertise in AI governance, privacy, strategy, and large-scale transformation. His work sits at the intersection of policy and practice, translating complex AI, data, and regulatory principles into practical, decision-oriented frameworks that strengthen trust and enable responsible innovation at scale.

Derick is a certified AI Governance Professional (AIGP), Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and a licensed Electronics and Communications Engineer. He is a strong advocate for a safe, inclusive, and human-centered digital ecosystem, and is known for advancing practical, real-world approaches to AI governance, anti-scam protection, and privacy in complex enterprise environments. His work is grounded in a simple belief: AI must not only be powerful, it must be governable, accountable, and built to earn trust.
