Boipelo Moraka is a dedicated and passionate professional known for her hard work in the drone and aviation space. With a background in mine surveying & mapping, security surveillance, cinematography & infrastructure inspection using drones, her deep commitment to empowering her fellow youth has always taken precedence. 

Boipelo Moraka has been instrumental in raising awareness about disaster and risk management over the past 2 years promoting sustainable practices that involve drone use. 

She has worked with various organizations and communities to develop and implement initiatives aimed at promoting 4IR & drones in rural South Africa. Boipelo Moraka is also an advocate for environmental education and has been involved in numerous outreach programs to engage and educate the public about the importance of environmental stewardship and adopting the use of 4IR, training youth in being disaster risk management champions as well as new technology ambassadors. Her efforts have helped others to take action in their own communities. In addition to her drone work, Boipelo Moraka is also a skilled manned pilot & obtained her PPL in 2015 and her Cabin Crew License in 2014. She obtained her drone license in 2015 and later her BVLOS rating in 2022. She is currently a freelance drone pilot in her spare time, she works as the chief drone pilot & Ops manager for QP Drone Tech & SA Flying Labs.
