Allegra Cuomo

Allegra Cuomo is a philosophy student at University College London and founder of the InnoEthics, which focuses on technology ethics, the ethics of AI, and how this translates to ethical AI governance and the regulation of emerging technologies. Allegra is passionate about how responsible technology and AI implementation can have a positive impact on society, and on the importance of having established frameworks that concentrate on the ethical considerations that will arise from the mass integration of these technologies. With this focus she launched the InnoEthics Live podcast, bringing together technical and philosophical perspectives on questions about AI ethics and technology.
Other work in this area includes acting as AI Ethics Coordinator for the Global AI Governance Alliance, and as a youth leader for Flippgen, focusing on making the digital world safer for young people. Moreover, she is an Ambassador for the AFS Youth Assembly, supporting youth changemakers and working with various UN organisations to coordinate initiatives providing opportunities and empowering youth.
