Artificial intelligence is transforming the way we create, work and learn, with the potential to drive economic growth, create jobs and accelerate sustainable development. In this opening keynote, singer/songwriter, ABBA co-founder, entrepreneur and CISAC President Björn Ulvaeus explores how AI can help build an innovative and prosperous future while preserving human creativity, culture and knowledge that fuel progress. Challenging the notion of AI versus artists, Ulvaeus presents a vision of AI with creators: a future built on partnership rather than substitution, where technology amplifies human potential and empowers the next generation of innovators. He argues that AI’s full promise can only be realised through global cooperation and internationally aligned rules that foster trust, accountability and shared value. The same principles that protect creativity also underpin innovation across society—from education, science and healthcare to entrepreneurship, media and the digital economy. Whilst AI may be one of the defining technologies of our time, the future still depends on human ingenuity, imagination and trust. The future needs creators—and the best future for AI is one built with them.
