The global pandemic starting in 2020 impacted the world in many unexpected ways – demonstrating that we need increased readiness to respond to global risks and to be able to help society resume its normal function while safeguarding everyone.

All over the world various initiatives leveraging AI and ML offered approaches for help with decision making and better handle the disruption

The Global Initiative on AI and Data Commons is initiating a public collaborative effort named “Project Resilience”. The vision, in the continuity of efforts towards AI for the common good, is to create a public AI service where a global community of innovators and thought leaders can enhance and utilize a collection of data and AI approaches both in the context of the current pandemic and for similar future challenges. The goal is to collaboratively design and build an open AI system that could inform and help tackle global decision-augmentation problems.

Join us for this official introduction of the project and learn how you can participate in this unique project that will help communities and people benefit from the power of AI and Data when it matters the most.
