This open-mic consultation and information session will mark the launch of the preparatory process for the AI Summit Geneva 2027.

The session will present the current state of preparations and will gather input from community. It aims to create an open and participatory space where stakeholders can share their views on how to shape the roadmap toward the AI Summit Geneva 2027.

Geneva hosts a unique ecosystem of international organizations, governments, research institutions, private-sector actors, and civil society organizations working on digital governance and artificial intelligence. Engaging this diverse community at an early stage in the preparatory process provides a valuable opportunity to gather perspectives on priorities for the Summit and ensure inclusive and representative participation.

This session is aimed for experts and representatives from government, industry, academia, and civil society to deliver short, focused interventions highlighting the most pressing challenges and opportunities in artificial intelligence that should be addressed in the next Summit. Interventions will be brief and substantive, aimed at surfacing key questions rather than providing full analyses.

Audience input will be captured ensuring broad engagement on the Summit from the outset.
