Universe is vast, connected, and evolving by the laws of physics, which give rise to recurrent patterns, e.g., light, electrons, molecules, organisms, planets, galaxies, that are persistent carriers of information. These laws also serve as protocols of communication between these information carrying entities. Thus, the universe can be regarded as an Interconnected network of Everything we perceive, i.e., Internet of Everything (IoE). This vision of IoE, therefore, is that of connecting our already developed infrastructure to all observable entities in the universe, ranging from molecules and cells within human body to the people and planets. In this talk, the IoE vision will be introduced; the state-of-the-art, research challenges and directions in some of its novel components, e.g., Internet of Bio-Nano Things, Internet of Organoids, Internet of Plants, Internet of Space, will be discussed along with underlying unconventional communication paradigms, e.g., from particle-based to gravitational communications.
