Innovation Factory grand finale & Evening reception (open to all participants)

After a year-long quest to find the most promising AI for Good start-ups from across the globe and industries, the AI for Good Innovation Factory Grand Finale will award five winners for their innovative and scalable solutions to help advance the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

During this exciting in-person event, five entrepreneurs will have the chance to present their solutions before a jury of experts who will evaluate their pitches and select the top winner. These five promising AI ventures have great scalability potential and are making use of innovative technologies for social good. From fields of accessibility, healthcare, education, and environmental sustainability – these AI for Good solutions are tackling the world’s greatest challenges. Which one will win?

The top start-ups will not only deliver their final pitch with presentations showcasing their AI innovations but also share their exciting journey with their mentors, investors, and partners throughout the year. We will conclude with discussions including a Q&A with the jury, audience, or media on topics related to the social impact of their solutions.

All Factory finalists will be eligible to apply for the invitation-only Roddenberry Foundation’s $1mil Prize for early stage, scientific and technology ventures leveraging AI for a better future.

WHAT IS AI FOR GOOD INNOVATION FACTORY?

AI for Good Innovation Factory is a UN-led pitching/acceleration platform to help start-ups grow and scale their innovative AI-powered and SDG-driven solutions, by providing them with opportunities of business matchmaking, mentoring, fundraising and more. The program is open to any innovative start-ups using artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced algorithms to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Through a series of preliminary pitching sessions this year, the best five teams have been selected to pitch their solutions at the Grand Finale during the AI for Good Global Summit on 30 May 2024. The event will connect the finalists with the world-renowned AI experts and thought leaders to help scale their AI solutions globally.
