As population aging and digital transformation deepen their convergence, digital age-friendliness is entering a critical phase: under rapid AI advancement, it is shifting from basic information access and easy-to-use applications toward precisely tailored services. China Mobile, as a technology service company, has found through practice and analysis that AI is driving profound changes in age-friendly interaction paradigms and service delivery models, opening new paths to improve older adults’ digital and intelligent living experiences. At the same time, technological iteration creates new forms of an ‘intelligence divide’ and raises safety concerns—covering data privacy, algorithmic fairness, and high-risk application scenarios—posing a dual challenge to deeper age-friendly digitalization. Moving forward, China Mobile advocates centering older adults’ needs, embedding age-friendly design from the start, rigorously safeguarding technical security, and enabling multi-stakeholder collaboration so that older people can equally join the digital-intelligent society and realize the vision of ‘mobile intelligence, inclusive without boundaries’.
