Sreenivas Raghavendran is currently the Gamechanger/Commercial Parterships Manager, at Shell Technology Centre Bangalore, actively working on engaging the external start-up ecosystem, to mature novel/cutting edge ideas, with an aim to nurture, foster and co-mature such ideas through the Shell Gamechanger program, in close collaboration with the start-ups, by way of a well set process of technology maturation. He is currently directly mentoring/working with several startups through Shell Gamechanger program, with a key focus on New energy/related technologies.

An Industry recognized mechanical engineering Subject Matter expert by training and experience, Sreenivas brings in 20+ years of hydrocarbon Industry experience, out of which 15 years are with Shell. He specializes in machinery dynamics, machinery fault diagnostics and technology development for the machinery engineering. He was instrumental in maturation and deployment of about 10+ key technologies for the rotating equipment engineering discipline of Shell. He has several research collaboration programs, notable among them was a 4-year Joint Industry research consortium on Aeroelasticity, with 7 partners (Four of them were Major OEMs, and three were research institutes where Ph.Ds. were funded). He has extensively travelled within Shell assets to troubleshoot and fix vexing machinery problems which needed deep specialisms on Rotordynamics and vibration engineering.

His other passion includes exploring technologies around digitalization which can help deliver top quartile projects project excellence. Sreenivas has one Patent and 12+ publications to his credit. Passionate about knowledge sharing, Sreenivas managed the Shell Internal knowledge sharing forum for the discipline (400+ Members) for 10 years and actively teaches to the Flagship Shell program for Graduates called Launchpad. He has delivered talks in various external forums such as University of Virginia (UVA ROMAC) annual meeting and has also sat as session chair on panels of several flagship machinery conferences such as Turboshow, hosted by Texas A&M University. Sreenivas holds a Master degree (research stream) from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.
