Vedant Nair

Vedant is a high school junior in the IB Diploma program in Mumbai, India. He aspires to pursue Electrical and Computer Engineering at an undergraduate level and has displayed his affinity for STEM related endeavours by serving as the Programming Vice-Captain of his school team for the FIRST Robotics World Championships in Houston earlier this year. Vedant is also a multi-instrumentalist and his personal passion is to combine music technology with computer science, which is reflected in his independently developed app that uses real-time health data from smartwatches to regulate a listener’s heart rate through automated playlist generation. He is also currently working on a proprietary eye-tracking software to make the generation of music accessible to members of the paraplegic society.
