Smart City and Partners (SCP) is a technology development startup founded in 2019. It placed 4th nationwide in the “Stars of Region” startup competition at the Uludağ Economic Summit. It is also among the startups selected for Denizbank Aquarium/Neohub and the TİM-TEB Entrepreneurship House. Thanks to certifications and training from leading space agencies such as ESA and NASA, it holds a pioneering position in remote sensing with highly advanced technologies such as SAR and multispectral satellite imagery. SCP offers innovative solutions to its clients by developing customized monitoring systems for critical issues such as the natural environment and disasters. SCP’s comprehensive solutions, developed through the creation of specialized software and algorithms, aim to provide its clients with a useful and functional service. SCP’s remote monitoring capabilities help its clients better understand environmental impacts and the use of natural resources, enabling them to make informed decisions and smarter choices in these areas. The main topics that SCP monitors/analyzes through remote sensing can be listed as follows: – Sedimentation, algae, phytoplankton, cyanobacteria, and chlorophyll formation in water – Water levels in ponds and dams – Moisture and chlorophyll levels in forests or agricultural areas – Air pollution and greenhouse gases – Biomass measurement and carbon sink analysis – Detection of earth changes with InSAR. Thanks to all these features, SCP facilitates its customers’ operations and helps them move towards a more sustainable future. SCP aims to develop products and solutions within the scope of the UNDP’s (United Nations Sustainability Development Goals). SCP’s remote monitoring technologies enable its customers to better track their activities and use their resources more efficiently. Thus, its customers contribute to the protection of the natural environment by saving resources.
